How it works

Six steps from the employer's own system to your inbox. You stay in charge of what goes out in your name: you review your first tailored resume, you set the daily cap, and nothing is sent for real until you say so.

  1. 1. Find

Employer systems, public job banks, open data and curated threads. Not LinkedIn, not Indeed.

We read postings where employers publish them first: their own applicant tracking system boards, their career pages, government job banks and open data, and a few curated threads. Each posting keeps its source and links to the employer's own page. Staffing agencies are read too, and their postings say so.

  2. 2. Rank

Realistic now, from openings, hiring rates, competition, pay fit, freshness and your fit. Show more for the rest.

Each match gets a Realistic now score from six factors, multiplied by the signals that predict an interview. The default list is what scores at or above the line; Show more lists every other match with the reason it fell below, and you can apply anyway. Every job carries a Why tab with the numbers and the studies.

  3. 3. Tailor

One base resume per role type, tailored per posting in your voice. You review the first one.

You keep one base resume per role type. For each posting the wording is reordered and rephrased toward the posting's own terms, in your voice, and a truth check sends back any sentence that claims a number, skill, employer, title or date your resume does not have. Nothing is invented.

  4. 4. Apply or queue

Direct where the employer's system accepts it, within your daily cap. Otherwise a copy sheet and a deep link.

Where the employer's system accepts a direct application, it is sent there at your daily batch time, within the cap you set, with every request and response logged. Everywhere else the job lands in a one-tap queue: the employer's page, a copy sheet in the order its form asks, your resume ready, and Mark as sent.

  5. 5. Track

Your application address forwards every reply and logs it: received, rejection, interview, assessment, request, offer.

You get an application address of your own. Employers reply to it; we forward every reply to your own email as it arrives, label it, and log it against the application, so your pipeline shows what was sent, what replied and what is next.

  6. 6. Prep

Likely questions for the role and company from sources we can name. Practice with feedback.

When a reply looks like an interview or an assessment, prep opens for that application: likely questions, each marked with where it comes from (the posting, the employer's own published process, or what is common for the role), and practice with feedback on your answers.

Before anything is sent for real

Every account, free or paid, starts the same careful way.

  • A dry run first

Until you approve a tailored resume and agree to the first real send on your own account, the daily batch does everything except send. You can open each application and see exactly what would have gone out.

  • You review the first tailored resume for each base

You see every change next to the sentence it replaced and the posting term that motivated it. After that one review, later versions go out on their own unless the truth check flags one, or you ask to review every one.

  • Caps you set, and rules that protect you

Plus sends 15 direct applications a day by default and never more than 25 a day or 75 a week. No account sends more than 50 in a day, and every account applies to one employer at most once every 30 days. You can lower your cap, or pause sending, at any time.

  • The line is yours to move

Realistic now starts at a score of 60. Lower it on your preferences page to see more in the default list; nothing is ever hidden, and Show more always lists the rest with the reason each one fell below.

What we never do

Anything on this list stays yours to do, and where an application needs one of them, it comes back to you as a step in your queue.
